BACKGROUND
In societies where we have different ideas, wants, needs and demands there are diverse opportunities for conflict – as conflicting mindsets, ideas, needs, wants and opinions. Most people always want to be right or to win – whatever the cost. To implement power games and conflict to get what you want however takes up time and energy that could be spent on more productive methods. We can spend this time and energy more effectively by understanding the true underlying causes of conflict. By learning to manage the symptoms of conflict - as outburst of physical or emotional violence - we can secure a more effective outcome and create harmony, peace and prosperity for all. This takes a level of maturity that many people still need to reach. This workshop focuses on the development of this maturity and the skills and tools necessary to change conflict into confidence and cooperation
